A prankster has incurred the wrath of New York City authorities after he

His explanation, according to UPI.com, was that his car tire popped out when he hit the potholes.

Inasmuch as Coby Persin is getting all the public support for his campaign to trigger the authorities to fix the roads, the New York City Department of Transportation has expressed displeasure about the move.

The department issued a statement saying, "Aside from putting himself in harm's way, Persin's tree planting is putting other people on the road in danger."

It is not clear if Coby’s action breaches any law for which he should be sanctioned.
